Yacht Gallery: COMMANDER Return to Yacht Gallery The historic vessel M/V COMMANDER, built in 1917, is listed on the National and State registers of Historic Places. From May through October, the M/V Commander cruises the Hudson Highlands from West Haverstraw, West Point and Peekskill. The upper deck has ample seating and is partly covered by a canopy, affording both sun and shade for those enjoying the magnificent view of the Hudson Highlands. The enclosed lower deck has a maximum capacity of 100 passengers with sit-down dining for 60 guests. Overall capacity for 125 using both decks.
