Whatever your "urban desire" may be, Captain Steve knows how to float your boat..

What do Alicia Keys, Robert Wagner and the hotties in our swimsuit spread (see feature p. 14) have in common? They've all spent a day at sea with Urban Desire Cruises!

For more than 20 years, Captain Steve has been at the helm of the charter-by-the-hour yacht service -- the only one of it's kind in Manhattan.

"Most of the charter companies in this city are big boats with specific routes that roam along the skylines, take you past the Brooklyn Bridge and that's it." Steve says. "I'm also a location manager in the production business, and my travels on land scouting for television and film allows me to show people parts of the city that they might not otherwise get to see."

Of course, if you and 1,000 of your best buds want to splurge on a beheamoth boat in New York or California, Steve can hook you up just as easily. But the "Urban Desire" specifically caters to more intimate expeditions of six people or less, starting at about $1,000 for a three-hour tour (we'll leave it to you to insert your own Gilligan's Island joke here). So if you and some compadres feel like spending an afternoon on the Hudson, Capt. Steve's got you covered. If your BF has been hounding you with the line, "We never do anything special anymore," surprise him with a night on the water and a private on-board dinner made to order by Urban Desire's private chef.
